About Us
We at Daniels Photography Studio are committed to creating premium-quality individual and family portraits in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. And, we have one of the best locations in Historic Ellicott City/Oella for doing just that! The studio itself is located in a restored 19th century church building which allows for a spacious camera room and a private changing area for your use during a photo session. The grounds surrounding the church offer lush plantings and marvelous old trees perfect for outdoor photographs. Add to that the 200-year-old stone buildings, the old brick textile mill (currently under renovation into luxury apartments), the foot bridge, fences and stone walls all within an easy walk, and you are assured of having unique photographs that will become family treasures.

Directions
From the North
- From Route 29 South, exit onto Route 40 East.
- At the second traffic signal, turn right onto Rogers Avenue.
- Turn right at the first street, which is also Rogers Avenue.
- At the 'T' intersection, turn left onto Main Street (Frederick Rd.)
- Continue on Main Street through Historic Ellicott City.
- Pass the old train station museum on your right, go under the overpass and over the bridge.
- Immediately on the far side of the bridge, turn left onto Oella Ave.
(Make sure to turn in front of the Trolley Stop Restaurant.) - Follow Oella Ave. approximately ¾ of a mile along the river.
- We are located in a renovated white church on the right-hand side of the road.
- Park in the lot beyond the church.
From the East (from the Baltimore Beltway Rt. 695)
- Exit onto Route 70 West.
- Exit onto Route 29 South.
- Follow the above directions From the north.
From the South
- From Route 29 North, exit onto Route 40 East.
- At the first traffic signal, turn right onto Rogers Avenue.
- Turn right at the first street, which is also Rogers Avenue.

- Just prior to Pine Orchard Lane (4th traffic signal,) bear right onto Frederick Rd.
- Follow Frederick Rd. into Historic Ellicott City where it becomes Main Street.
- Pass the old train station museum on your right, go under the overpass and over the bridge.
- Immediately on the far side of the bridge, turn left onto Oella Ave. (Make sure to turn in front of the Trolley Stop Restaurant.)
- Follow Oella Ave. approximately ¾ of a mile along the river.
